Strictly Come Dancing Visits Razzamataz Hampstead!
Strictly Choreographer Patrick Helm took the students from Razzamataz Theatre School Hampstead, through their paces on Friday evening at their Primrose Hill Theatre School Open Day. The students in true Strictly style strutted, shimmied, jumped and jived, to Patrick’s dance routine.
Patrick had all the students old and new, up and dancing and it didn’t take long for the parents/carers, to want to join in too and they certainly showed the children that they hadn’t forgotten how to move !
The panel of judges, Razzamataz teachers, Carrie Whitton, Katie Jackson and Sophie Atkins, found it hard, to judge between the various contestants, as they all demonstrated a great deal of personality, passion and artistic flair, in their very own strictly way, when they took to the dance floor and 10s were common place – no nasty comments from them !
The winners were awarded trophies, by Patrick who said “he had thoroughly enjoyed himself and looked forward to working with Razzamataz Hampstead again in the future, so everyone must keep daaaaancing”
As Strictly returns to our screens again for its thirteenth series, School Principal Frances Nicholson, said “she was delighted that Patrick had been able to find the time to conduct a Workshop for her students who had all thoroughly enjoyed the experience”.
