From the moment Frances Nicholson, received her first applause as one of the Snow Children, in Rogers and Hammerstein’s Carousel she was hooked on musical theatre. Quickly developing a love of all aspects of dance, drama and singing, she is passionate about all aspects of Musical Theatre, sharing her experience, developing skills and believes Musical Theatre has so much to offer to all age groups!
Studying from the age of three, she has worked her way through all the ballet, tap, singing and dance classes, her dream to achieve a professional Dance and Drama Qualification. This was achieved when she trained professionally at The Urdang Academy and then graduated from the Guildford School of Acting with a BA(hons) in Musical Theatre.
Frances was also fortunate to be awarded an ASPIRE scholarship, which provided her with a professional theatre mentor, whilst she herself in return mentored a student wishing to train professionally – her mentee is now progressing well and Frances is keen to assist others to achieve whatever they ASPIRE to or just to share her love of musical theatre and dance.
Her theatre credits include – The Bakers Wife, Smokey Joes Café and several variety productions. Most recently Frances appeared in the latest Experian television advert and has recently finished filming with Billie Piper on a new film.
Frances has an extended knowledge of the industry and teaching and hopes to share her love for theatre and street dance with all her Razzamataz students.
